Refund policy

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible, items must be in the same condition you received them, unused and unworn, with tags, and in the original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

To start a return, email hello@saltwaterbeautyco.au. Returns must be sent to the following address once approved:

If your return is accepted, we will send you a prepaid return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us right away if an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.

Hygiene and change of mind

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept change of mind returns on any eyelash products or accessories that have been opened, unsealed, or used. This includes lash clusters, lash adhesives, sealers, removers, tools, and any item where the hygiene seal is broken.

Unopened eyelash products in original packaging may be returned within 30 days in line with our standard returns policy.

Exceptions and non returnable items

We do not accept returns for the following:

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

If you are unsure about your item, please contact us before purchasing or before opening the packaging.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted and processed, place a new order for the item you prefer.

Refunds

We will notify you when we receive and inspect your return. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

Shipping and Transaction Fees:Please note that shipping costs and payment processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds will only include the purchase price of the product(s) returned.

Buy Now, Pay Later Refunds

For orders paid with buy now, pay later services Afterpay or other), refunds will be processed back to your respective payment account:

Afterpay: Refunds are sent back to your Afterpay account, and any remaining installment payments will be adjusted accordingly. The refund timing depends on Afterpay's processing schedule.

For questions about your refund status with Afterpay or Klarna, please contact the respective provider directly through their app or customer service. We process refunds on our end immediately, but the timing of when you see the refund in your account is managed by the payment provider.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if your item has a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced within a reasonable time.
